love thy neighbor

My next door neighbor is a total kindred spirit.

Five years ago I would be trying to convert her. Today I'm just so grateful to have such an awesome neighbor.

I mean, lets face it, I'm not exactly a social butterfly. My idea of an exciting evening is one where everyone updates their blogs and a Jet Li movie is playing. I can count on one hand the number of humans I associate with regularly simply because I enjoy their company. I leave the house to pick up food and take the dog to the park.

How nice is it to be able to take out the trash and stop and talk to the neighbor about everything under the sun? So nice.
